La Fiesta de Halloweeno

Our (now) annual Halloween party was last night. Since I have been up for 4 hours already this morning (but not the least bit hungover, thank you very much), I thought I'd take the opportunity to post a couple of last night's pics. I am nothing if not prompt.

So, first off, my batty jack-o-lantern:

I cheated this year and used a pattern. And then I broke off the bat part trying to punch out the parts around it (Thickest. Pumpkin walls. Ever.) Serves me right for taking the flashy route, I suppose. BUT, I did manage to stick it back on by getting crafty with some toothpicks. Thank goodness Jeff made me buy them for the smoked meats!

And, without further ado, I give you Pigs in Space:

Oh yeah, babies. Those are shiny pink skirts with boa trim. Lovingly made by Nik and her SuperMama. They were a tiny bit wonky because of the material, but it added to the charm! And you're witnessing the only time that night we wore the noses, so feel special.

Finally...who's that in the corner, dealing blackjack to The Ber? Why, it's none other than the host's brother, that musician extraordinare Kevin Mohl! Of Kevin Mohl and The Burning Sensation!
